STUDIO LIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY
I am a little different to most photographers in that I use studio light in all in-studio sessions. It produces a more consistent look which just can't be guaranteed with relying on natural sunlight. In addition to the stunning photography, studio light is a great way to dim the room light and calm baby into a deep and cozy sleep. I also make the experience as easy as possible for parents by providing the outfits, props, etc., for newborn and milestone sessions. I also provide free wardrobe consultation for family and maternity sessions, free and at your request. In addition to that, I encourage parents to kick back and relax during their newborn sessions, eat some snacks I provide, and let me do the hard work. I do my best to create a relaxing environment for the parents and siblings.
DIGITAL & PRO PRINTS
I provide a variety of packages with acid free, heirloom quality prints and products.
Technology will advance and change but heirloom quality prints, framed prints and albums last for generations and your posterity will actually keep those for centuries.
EXPERIENCE & SAFETY
I have been photographing babies and families for 10 years. I have mastered composition and color grading and correction. You’ll never receive green, gray or unflattering skin tones in your images. Also, safety is of supreme importance to me. I always make sure to keep your baby safe at all times, with tried and true safety measures I have learned from a few different safety training workshops. When posing them in difficult poses I will professionally edit your baby into a digital composite rather than to attempt leaving baby to unsafely support themselves. When booking me, you’re getting a true professional photographer. I am not a hobbyist or an apprentice so, you can count on the quality of work and safety I can provide.

Hi, I’m Keenya—wife, mom, and the heart behind Photography by Keenya. I specialize in Maternity, Fresh 48, Newborn, and Family Photography because I truly believe these seasons of life are sacred. They pass by so quickly, and yet they shape our hearts forever.
Photography has been a part of my life for years, but it wasn’t until I became a mother that I truly understood how much these fleeting moments matter. The baby rolls, sleepy yawns, tiny fingers, and messy giggles—those are the memories we never want to lose.
My sessions are relaxed, baby-led, and full of grace. I want you to feel seen, beautiful, and at ease—whether you're glowing through pregnancy, welcoming a brand new life, or wrangling a crew of little ones. I work with real families, real emotions, and real love. No pressure, no posing stress—just connection and joy.

LIGHTROOM CLASSIC & PHOTOSHOP CC EDUCATION for photographers
Often, photographers think their photos don’t look the way the want because they’re making mistakes when shooting. The truth is, they just need some editing education. This course is meant to set you up for success when it comes to editing.
This is a three 1.5 hour lessons, in-person, or via Zoom or Skype course. No experience needed.
You will learn Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC basic functions, tips and tricks.
I will teach you how to create presets as well as suggest my favorite/go-to presets that you can purchase. (not provided by me)
I will teach you to see and fix color.
You will be able to ask me any editing question, tell me about your challenges and I will help you the best I can to solve them with tricks I’ve learned through the years.
